Kia ora! Hello!

Back in 2017 I left Aotearoa for a 2week trip to the good ole United States of America to do a road trip from San Fran to LA and back. By memory this trip was booked about 3weeks in advance as a way to temporarily run away from my mundane life - and it worked.

We ended up only spending a few days in San Fran but these were the main highlights, and should be on everyone’s must do list.

• The Painted Ladies of San Francisco, or “Seven Sisters” - backdrop for the credits in my all time fav tv show, Full House

• Castro District - full of gay culture and history

• Fishermans Wharf

• Lombard Street - the zig zag street

• Sutro Baths - old baths from 1894, but a walk around there gives a view of the San Francisco bridge, known as the Golden Gate Bridge
